Birthday weekend getaway

Devin surprised me by taking me up Midway and staying overnight and going on a fun adventure to see the Ice Castles and to dinner with Sindra and Brian. It was so cool to walk through the tunnels and walkways and see all the different formations the ice had made. It was beautiful, however in some of the spots a little scary to see the huge icicles hanging above our heads. We than went to dinner at Taramhara a Mexican resturant that has a salsa bar with many different flavors of salsa, the boys of course had to try all of them, some of them were delicious others not so much. However I think from all the salsa and spices poor Corbin was up most of the night very upset with me. It ended up being a not so restful night but was still fun to get out and have a little time away with just one kid. The hot tub and breakfast the next day were great company and fun as well. I think a birthday weekend stay might have to become a reoccurring event.
