House

We are under contract to build a house.

We are so excited! We are building with Ivory homes and so far loving everything about it. They have been great to work with, answered all our crazy first time buyer questions, and have great options to choose from.

Our house starts being build next week and should be done around 4-5 months. Ahhh it will be done so fast!

Here is our dirt.

 a house in the neighborhood that is similar and will have similar colors to what we choose...

 however ours has the "plank wood" on the front instead of stucco like in this picture.

We will also have a finished downstairs family room and 3 bedrooms 1 bath that will be unfinished.

Now onto color choices...this was soo hard! You think it would be fun and enjoyable but really we just stressed and changed our minds a lot.

Hopefully the finished product all looks good and we will like it all put together.

The kitchen will have these white counter tops.(i really love the white but keep stressing that it is a bad decision...any opinions?) the cream paint color, tile, and carpet for the entire house.

We will probably end up painting the bedrooms later.

bathroom cabinets will be this dark maple in both the hall bathroom and master bath.

The tile for the bathroom and the accent tile for the master bath, this picture doesn't show it very well but the accent tile has a blue tint to it not grey. its called Arctic Cloud after all...

We are very excited and happy that we have finally hit this point. We feel like actual grown ups now...its a little bit strange, nervous, and exciting all at the same time. Lets hope we keep our heads sane these next few months during this process. Wish us luck!
