Friday after thanksgiving we woke up early and got all ready and drove up the mountain to cut down our Christmas tree. We normally go with Devin's cousin Buddy but they were going on a day that didn't work with out schedule so we went alone. It was actually a lot of fun and a great drive/visit with just our little family. We found a tree pretty quickly and the girls were excited. Getting home was a little different story. To save gas we drove the Journey and brought a tarp and ties to put the tree on top of the car, well the tree kept sliding out of the tarp. We had to stop 4 different times and re-tie the tree down. Overall we made it home safely though and than decorated and got it all set up. I love the smell of fresh cut trees and love the beautiful tree we were able to get.
